I was asked by a friend of a friend to do a short logo animation. Didn’t really have a lot of direction other than maybe have the snow move.
This involved separating out the layers so I could give the strokes some beveled edges and a little shadow.
Several copies of a light sweep tied to a single expression controller null object, animating several smoke layers with glows and recon its to mask some of the breath from the wolf mouth. Light layers and animating the moon as a 3d object to give depth and shadow.
I created the several instances with a admittedly very basic particular effect on ales wrap solids to give the illusion of movement and then within the text as a track matte.
